My son is 18 pounds, 5 ounces as of yesterday! He had his 6 month shots and did very well. He just looked up at me with these sad eyes... like "how could you do this to me?" But he cried only momentarily, then nursed and then life was all good again. I didn't give him Tylenol prior and he seemed to do just fine without it. Last night he slept through the night from 9pm - 7am (YAHOO - the previous 4 nights he was waking around 2am, probably teeth related). He nursed and then went down until 8:30am. It was great to have time alone this morning for my devotions, a tidy of the kitchen, and to get myself ready all before he stirred. I then went on a lovely walk with my sister-in-law and Sam, my nephew, at the Vedder Canal. It was a great morning for a walk and Kristi definitely kept my pace up, which I totally need! Although, I don't need to lose weight (I'm actually less now than I was prior to pregnancy AND I'm NOT trying to lose weight at all - I think it's all this nursing), I definitely need to get back in shape. I was sweating for sure after our hour long walk!!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of being puked on!! Oh, the joys of parenthood! I guess Elijah wasn't all that hungry and then when we were playing a few minutes later I put him over my head and GUSH all over my shoulder and hair. YUCKY! Thankfully he missed my mouth as it was open... eww, gross thought! I also got to mow the lawn yesterday, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Elijah napped in his stroller, while I mowed. The smell of fresh cut grass is a wonderful thing and the fresh air did me good.
Here's the puke shot!
The next pics are a little random, but do enjoy!

Sarah, I love the first photo of Elijah. He looks like a cherub and I am not biased in any way!
Mum
i love that you took a picture of the puke in your hair :)
may I say that i"m a bit...well, hateful seems too strong, but i'm quite jealous that you are lighter than pre-pregnancy! I've just committed yesterday to losing 10 lbs. *sigh*
Mmm, baby puke! So lovely once they start solids, hey?
Maybe you can share some of your weight loss success with me! I'm so stuck on these last few pounds! I'm hoping by summer but I honestly feel too busy to even go for a walk some days...
funny the things we document now that we are mothers....too funny!!
