The past week or so...

Just as things were getting back into a really good routine here, Elijah had to start cutting his last three teeth (which is good on one level to get it over and done with, but it has also interrupted his good sleeping as of late). On top of teething, he's also got pink eye in both eyes!! So he's woken up with really goopy eyes the last three mornings. Apparently he doesn't have a bad case of it because the Dr. seems to think it will clear up on its own, which it is doing thankfully. He woke up this morning, with little to no goop so I am hopeful that it's already starting to go away. YIPEE! This pink eye though means we can't go to mom's group today as it's terribly contagious. So today will be a different kind of day. Laundry, cleaning, perhaps visiting Grumpa on the job site, and then in the evening I get to go out with some girlfriends for dessert!! I'm really looking forward to this as I haven't seen these girls in a while and I love the dessert place we're headed to. Mmm... mmm... good.
